Ben Skowronek
WR - LAR
Ben Skowronek, who is dealing with a hip injury, is questionable to play in Week 12 versus the Arizona Cardinals after being limited in practice all week.
Fantasy Impact
After playing a career-high 82% of the team's offensive snaps in 2022, Skowronek has taken on a more limited role again in 2023. He has played less than 30% of the team's snaps in every single game this year. Whether he misses time or not, it should have little impact in terms of fantasy football
Los Angeles Rams WR Ben Skowronek returned to practice on Friday as he deals with an Achilles injury and is questionable to play in Week 4.
Fantasy Impact
Despite emerging last season as a legitimate option in the LA passing offense, Skowronek has had a limited role in 2023. He has seen just four targets in three games. There’s a chance Skowronek does not play after being a DNP on Wednesday and Thursday, though it changes little in the fantasy landscape.
Rams WR Ben Skowronek (achilles) did not participate in practice Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Skowronek is dealing with an achilles injury and has not practiced in either session this week. Fantasy managers should expect veteran Demarcus Robinson to see additional snaps if Skowronek is unable to play in Week 4.
Ben Skowronek has been diagnosed with a strained calf and will be shut down for the rest of the season.
Fantasy Impact
Head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Tuesday that Skowronek has a strained calf and will be shut down for the rest of the season. The Rams have been eliminated from playoff contention, so it's no surprise that they won't rush him back to play the last couple of weeks. The Rams are now missing three of their top receivers for the rest of the year, so Van Jefferson and Tutu Atwell will have to step into a larger role on the offense as a result.
Ben Skowronek led the Rams pass-catchers Thursday night, hauling in seven of eight targets for 89 receiving yards in a 17-16 Week 14 win over the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Skowronek made the most of his opportunities in a shaky Rams passing attack Thursday night, leading the team in receptions and receiving yards while averaging a modest 12.7 yards per reception with new quarterback Baker Mayfield under center. The wideout will look to replicate his heavy volume to finish out the season for fantasy owners, with a Week 15 matchup against the Green Bay Packers up next.
