Brady Cook
QB - New York Jets
Availability
Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Brady Cook will start in Week 17 against the Patriots.
Fantasy Impact
Cook will start his third straight game. He took eight sacks this past week. He remains well off the fantasy radar.
Brady Cook completed 22-of-35 pass attempts for 188 yards and one interception while also rushing once for two yards in the Jets' 29-6 Week 16 loss to the Saints.
Fantasy Impact
Cook has struggled to make an impact behind center, finishing with under 200 passing yards and at least one interception in each of his three starts. The quarterback cannot be trusted in any format ahead of a Week 17 matchup against the New England Patriots.
Brady Cook has been named the Jets starter in Week 16 against the Saints.
Fantasy Impact
Cook threw three interceptions in last week's loss against the Jaguars. One of Tyrod Taylor (groin) and QB Justin Fields (knee) will serve as the backup.
Brady Cook completed 22 of 33 passes for 176 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions, adding 39 yards on six carries in Sunday's 48-20 loss to the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
Cook will certainly remember Sunday's game, as he threw his first career touchdown pass. However, the growing pains were there for the rookie quarterback throughout the game. If fellow Jets QBs Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) remain out in Week 16, Cook would likely draw another start at New Orleans.
Brady Cook will be the Jets starting QB for Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
Cook came on in relief of Tyrod Taylor (groin) during this past Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. For Cook, it was his first in-game action in the NFL. The undrafted rookie out of Missouri completed just 14 of 30 passes for 163 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Cook will have a tough matchup on his hands in Jacksonville this Sunday.
