Aubrey came into the game perfect on his 35 field-goal tries but he had one of his field goals blocked by the Commanders in the first quarter. The rookie kicker wraps up his debut season with 36 field goals on 38 attempts while adding 49 extra points. He will kick against the Packers in next week's playoff game.

Brandon Aubrey converted both of his extra point attempts as well as both of his field goal attempts to finish with eight points in the Cowboys' 20-19 Week 17 win over the Detroit Lions.

Aubrey has provided solid returns in the kicking game of late, finishing with at least eight points while remaining perfect in four of the last five games for the Cowboys. The kicker should once again be a steady option for fantasy managers, with a solid Week 18 matchup against the Washington Commanders up next.

Aubrey has been arguably the best kicker in football this year, and he had yet another perfect outing on Sunday. That didn't translate into as much fantasy success as managers had hoped, however, as he had only two attempts on the day that totaled just four points. It's rare to see Dallas' offense fail to score over ten points, so he should be primed to bounce back in the very near future.

There is a good chance Aubrey won and lost many people their fantasy matchups Sunday night. He is the first player ever to make two field goals of 59+ yards in the same game. Greg Zuerlein and Harrison Butker previously did it from 58+ yards. Aubrey remains a steady kicker for fantasy managers moving forward.
