Brandon LaFell a non-factor in Week 2

WR Brandon LaFell caught four passes on seven targets for 30 yards in Week 2 vs. Houston.

Fantasy Impact

LaFell saw a good number of targets, but wasn't able to do much with them, averaging only 7.5 YPC. With the Bengals' entire offense failing to score a TD yet this season, fantasy owners may want to look to the waiver wire this week and try to find a player with more upside on a better offense.

Brandon LaFell with three catches against Baltimore

Brandon LaFell brought in three catches for 24 yards in Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Fantasy Impact

As the number two receiver in the Bengals offense, LaFell will have some fantasy value until rookie John Ross gets comfortable in the offense later in the season. Don't waste a roster spot on him, but he could potentially be a bye-week filler down the road if you're really in a bind.

Brandon LeFell hauls in two passes against Washington

Brandon LaFell converted on 2-of-3 targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 23-17 Cincinnati loss to the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Impact

LaFell is not worth rostering in most seasonal formats given the presence of so many weapons in Cincinnati.

Brandon LaFell re-signs with Bengals

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Brandon LaFell agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal.

Fantasy Impact

LaFell re-signed with the Bengals Wednesday. In his first year with the club in 2016, LaFell played in all 16 games and caught 64 targets for 862 yards and six touchdowns. He'll likely have a similar role in Cincinnati's passing attack in 2017 as he had last season. His fantasy value will drop with a healthy A.J. Green on the field.

Brandon LaFell closes the season strong

Brandon LaFell caught seven of his 11 targets for 67 yards on Sunday against the Ravens.

Fantasy Impact

LaFell had 20 catches on 30 targets over his final three games, totaling 288 yards receiving and a touchdown in that span. With A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert out, LaFell became Andy Dalton's most reliable wide receiver. It's unclear where LaFell, and unrestricted free agent, will play next season. If he remains with the Bengals, he will likely be no better than a WR4 once the other receiving options in Cincinnati are healthy.
