Brashard Smith
RB - Kansas City Chiefs
Availability
Brashard Smith did not get a carry, but caught 3 of 4 targets for five yards and a touchdown in Thursday's loss to the Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Smith's five-yard TD reception in the second quarter of Thursday's game was the first career score of any kind for the rookie running back. It was also the first TD pass for QB Chris Oladokun. Smith has been a non-factor in the Chiefs' running game for the most part, but he does now have six different games with at least three receptions this season.
Brashard Smith rushed for five yards on one carry in the Chiefs 23-20 win over the Colts. He caught 3-of-4 targets for 31 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Smith operated as the passing down back and split backup role duties with Clyde Edwards-Helaire. With Kareem Hunt dominating the touches Sunday, fantasy managers should expect Smith's role to remain minimal against the Cowboys in Week 13.
Brashard Smith caught 2-of-3 targets for just eight yards in Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie did not see even a single rushing attempt on Sunday. That was less than ideal, given that he should have seen increased opportunities with Isiah Pacheco (knee) out of the lineup for Kansas City. He continues to see minimal involvement as a pass catcher but should not be rostered in most league formats at this point.
Brashard Smith rushed the ball three times for seven yards and failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie was not very involved on Sunday, seeing just three touches over the course of the game in a loss to the Bills. There was some more hope for him with Isiah Pacheco (knee) out of the lineup for Kansas City but the game script didn't give him many good opportunities to get involved. He should not be rostered in most leagues for the foreseeable future.
Brashard Smith ran three times for 8 yards in the Chiefs' 28-7 win over the Commanders on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Smith was not a factor in the win after having a small breakout last week against Las Vegas. He's tough to trust for fantasy with Kansas City opting for a three-man backfield rotation and is best left on waivers.
