Week 6 Outlook
Availability
Breston Bersin has been placed on injured reserve effectively ending his season due to a shoulder injury. Bersin is a free agent next season.
Fantasy Impact
Bersin was mainly a special teamer so we should see more Curtis Samuels this season in the slot.
Breston Bersin has re-signed with the Panthers on a one-year deal after being a non-tendered restricted free agent. Bersin signs on for his fourth season with the team totaling just one touchdown in three seasons prior. Bersin is purely a special teamer.
Fantasy Impact
Bersin isn't going to make any fantasy waves next season but with Ted Ginn being a free agent, Bersin could see time returning punt or kick returns.
Bersin led the way for the Panthers in the final preseason game with six grabs for 89 yards along with a 37 yard long ball.
Fantasy Impact
Bersin continues to play well in the preseason games but is on the bubble with WR Philly Brown. Even if he makes the team, he's at best fourth on the WR depth chart behind Funchess, Benjamin, and Ginn.
Breston Bersin led the way in receiving for the Panthers in their first preseason game against the Ravens. Bersin caught five out of six targets for 69 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Bersin isn't a fantasy option but it's worth noting in the event of injury. If Bersin can continue this in the preseason, he would earn the #4 job. Either way, he's off the fantasy radar.
Breston Bersin leads Carolina in receiving today against the Tampa Buccaneers. Bersin went 4/54 today.
Fantasy Impact
Bersin looked to be Cam's go to WR today but Cam only threw for 124 yards. Bersin is not on the fantasy radar.
