QB - DEN
This Week Outlook
Brett Rypien completed 19-of-31 passes for 242 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in the Broncos' 37-28 Week 4 win over the Jets.
The good news for Rypien is that Denver got the win, though it's fair to question how this would've turned out against better competition. The highlight of the night was a 48-yard TD to Jerry Jeudy, in which the rookie receiver jumped over his defender to make a grab at the goal-line. It was a pretty play, but it was almost as if Rypien was targeting the cornerback on the throw. The Patriots present a wildly tougher Week 5 matchup.
The expectation is that Brett Rypien will be the starting QB on Thursday vs. the Jets.
Brett Rypien completed 8-of-9 passes for 53 yards and one interception in the Broncos' Week 3 loss to the Buccaneers. He will be the Broncos third starting QB of the season. If you can, it's best to stay away from Rypien and all Denver's playmakers until we see what he can do.
Brett Rypien completed 8-of-9 passes for 53 yards and one interception in the Broncos' 28-10 loss to the Buccaneers Sunday.
Rypien came on in relief of a struggling Jeff Driskel in the fourth quarter Sunday. It's best to stay away from anyone not named Drew Lock at quarterback for Denver.
