Brian O'Neill
OT - Minnesota Vikings
Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Brian O'Neill (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fantasy Impact
Minnesota's offensive line may be weaker than usual on Thursday night, as O'Neill and Christian Darrisaw (knee) are both considered questionable to play against the Chargers. If either of them are ruled out, that will negatively impact Carson Wentz and Jordan Mason in this matchup.
Brian O'Neill (knee) will not play in Week 5's matchup against the Browns.
Fantasy Impact
O'Neill has not practiced all week due a sprained MCL, so he was obviously a very long shot to play in the first place. On a positive note, the Vikings have not decided to place the two-time Pro Bowler on IR.
Brian O'Neill will not take part in practice this week due to a shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact
O'Neill sprained an MCL during Sunday's loss to the Steelers in Ireland. The two-time Pro Bowler exited the game after sustaining the injury and did not return. His status for Week 5 is obviously in doubt following the announcement from head coach Kevin O'Connell that O'Neill will not practice this week. On a positive note, the Vikings are not placing O'Neill on IR as of yet.
The Vikings have ruled out OL Brian O'Neill for the remainder of the game with the Steelers with a knee injury.
Fantasy Impact
The Vikings may also be without C Ryan Kelly, who is currently being evaluated for a concussion. The Vikings will likely have to play the remainder of the game without two key pieces to their offensive line.
Brian O'Neill will not be on the PUP list, but the Vikings will be cautious with him early, per Vikings’ head coach Kevin O’Connell.
Fantasy Impact
The team is planning on having O’Neill ready by September 10. O’Neill continues to work his way back from an Achilles tendon injury he suffered at the end of last season.
