Buffalo Bills
DST - BUF
The Buffalo Bills D/ST gave up 38 points and had one sack in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
The Bills D/ST got healthy down the stretch and proved to be the formidable opponent experts thought they would be heading into 2020. Unfortunately, they ran into the buzz saw that is the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills D/ST finished as a top-12 scoring defense in fantasy and there is no reason to believe they can't do it again in 2021.
Buffalo Bills D/ST allowed just three points and recorded two sacks and an interception in Saturday's win over the Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
The defense is the story of this game, and rightly so. The Bills held Lamar Jackson to just 162 yards through the air and 34 rushing yards in a statement win Saturday night. The Buffalo D/ST seems to be putting things together at the right time, and with Josh Allen performing at a near MVP level, they should be feared by the opposition.
The Bills D/ST gave up 24 points while recording no sacks or turnovers in Saturday's Wildcard round win over the Colts.
Fantasy Impact
The Bills defense wasn't at its best on Saturday but still managed to hold off a surging Colts team and advance to the playoffs' divisional round next week. This D/ST appeared to be firing on all cylinders heading into the postseason, but weak competition may have skewed the numbers. If the Bills are to continue this run, the defense has to perform better moving forward.
The Buffalo Bills D/ST allowed 26 points while recording one sack, three interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown in Week 17's beat down of the Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact
Buffalo's D/ST picked up steam toward the end of the year, finishing the fantasy season strong with four straight games of 10 or more points scored. With both sides of the ball clicking at the right time, it's looking as though the Bills are going to be a team no one wants to contend with in the postseason.
Buffalo Bills D/ST had three sacks while holding the Patriots to just nine points in Week 16's win on Monday night.
Fantasy Impact
The Patriots' offense was abysmal, and couldn't find any semblance of rhythm as the Bills held them in check all game. The Buffalo D/ST seems to be hitting its stride late in the season, scoring ten or more fantasy points in 4-of-5 games. If your team is looking for a Week 17 streamer, this defense should be in consideration against a Miami team looking for an identity on offense.
