DE - ATL
Week 4 Outlook
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Atalanta Falcons are bringing in DL Calais Campbell on a one-year deal.
The Falcons continue to add on defense after signing Campbell to pair alongside new addition David Onyemata and veteran Grady Jarrett on the defensive line. The Falcons also brought in Jessie Bates at safety, showing a commitment to improve a defense that finished toward the bottom in most statistics in 2022. This could help point toward a potential offensive focus in the NFL Draft.
The Baltimore Ravens announced they have released Calais Campbell.
Campbell will hit the free agent market after spending three seasons with the Ravens. The 36-year-old tallied 5 1/2 sacks and 14 quarterback hits in 14 games last season. Campbell will add a veteran presence to any team that adds him to their defensive line.

Campbell is trying to recover from a knee injury that affected his practice status all week, and it will also sideline him on Saturday. It's unclear when the team expects him to be available to return, and his absence could possibly extend beyond this week's game.
Calais Campbell is returning to the Baltimore Ravens on a two-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
