Giants RB Cam Skattebo reportedly “might get on the field this spring."
Fantasy Impact
Skattebo suffered a season-ending ankle injury in 2025. Heading into fall 2026, the second-year back is expected to be healthy and, for now, projects as a low-end RB2 in fantasy.
Cam Skattebo said he will be “fully back to 100 percent” in “a little over a month.”
Fantasy Impact
That would leave Skattebo fully healthy by the end of April as he made the statement speaking to ESPN’s Rich Eisen. He should be fully ready to participate in the start of the Giants organized activities as a result beginning in May. Skattebo is currently slated to lead the Giants backfield, but the NFL Draft will have to be monitored to make sure they don't bring in anyone significant in the backfield.
Cam Skattebo is trending towards being ready for the start of the Giants offseason program.
Fantasy Impact
Skattebo had told reporters “training camp is the goal” when asked when he would return. He should be back before training camp at the start of the team's offseason program.
Cam Skattebo (ankle, leg) will be out of action up to six months.
Fantasy Impact
Even with the devastating injury for Skattebo on Sunday, the positive for the young RB is that he is expected to make a full recovery and be back in time for Giants' minicamp next year. Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary are expected to cover things in the Giants backfield the rest of this season.
Cam Skattebo will miss the remainder of the season with a dislocated ankle.
Fantasy Impact
Ian Rapoport confirmed the status of Skattebo after he left Sunday's game early with a dislocated ankle. He is expected to be fully back next season.
