Cassius Marsh cut by the Jaguars

The Jaguars cut DE Cassius Marsh on Thursday to make room for newly acquired LB Kamalei Correa.

Fantasy Impact

Marsh signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars during the offseason, but was ultimately released. He racked up nine tackles over four games for Jacksonville in 2020. Moss will look to latch onto another team during the regular season.

Cassius Marsh picks up another sack

Cassius Marsh recorded one solo tackle, one tackle for loss, and one sack in the San Francisco 49ers' destruction by the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Impact

Marsh had a sack in his second straight game, but don't expect it to continue. Despite the huge opportunity he has every week, he's just not that talented.

Cassius Marsh finally picks up his first sack

DE Cassius Marsh recorded three solo tackles, one assisted tackle, one sack, and one tackle for loss in the San Francisco 49ers' Week 5 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact

Despite being San Francisco's primary edge rusher, this was Marsh's first sack on the year. Notably, no other 49ers defender recorded a sack in this game. Through five weeks, Marsh has seven solo tackles, three assisted tackles, and one sack. Nothing to see here.

Cassius Marsh participates in walkthrough

Rookie DL Cassius Marsh participated in the short, walk-through practice after his MRI showed no damage may be able to play tomorrow night.

Fantasy Impact

This is an absolute best-case scenario for the impressive rookie out of USC. While chances are Marsh will not play in tonight's preseason action, he still has a shot to be a key contributor to Seattle's impressive defense in 2014.

Cassius Marsh to undero MRI

Rookie 4th rounder Cassius Marsh left practice early, and will have an MRI on his knee.

Fantasy Impact

With this set-back, Marsh joins a long list of Seahawk rookies missing practice with injury. This is a blow to the vaunted depth of the Seahawks defensive line, as Marsh had been impressing in camp. During the 1st preseason game, Marsh recorded 4 tackles and a sack, and barely missed a 2nd sack. The Seahawks defense will miss the DE/DT hybrid.
