Availability
Chad Ryland and the Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a one-year deal to keep the kicker on the roster for another season.
Fantasy Impact
Ryland appeared in all 17 games for Arizona last season and finished with a career-high 111 points. While he was a perfect 36-of-36 in extra points, Ryland was just 25-of-33 (75.8%) on field goal attempts, including just 13-of-20 (65%) on tries of 40 yards or more. Only five kickers finished with a lower field goal percentage than Hyland last year and one of those, Joshua Karty, signed with Arizona in December. The two will likely compete for the starting gig during training camp.
Chad Ryland connected on 2-of-2 field goals and 2-of-2 extra points in the Cardinals 37-20 loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Ryland connected on field goals from 45 and 56 yards out in the loss. Ryland will end the season 25-of-33 on field goal attempts and 36-of-36 on extra point attempts.
Chad Ryland connected on his two extra point attempts on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Ryland did not see a field goal attempt on the day. He could see some more opportunities against the Rams in Week 18.
Chad Ryland went 4-for-6 on his field-goal attempts and made his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
Ryland had a lot of opportunities on Sunday and ended the game with 13 total points. He left six points out on the field with two missed field goals, however, which hurt Arizona's chances to win. He isn't likely to be a strong fantasy option at the position to close out the season.
Chad Ryland hit both of his XP attempts in the Cardinals' 40-20 loss to Houston.
Fantasy Impact
Ryland has not been much of an option for fantasy, even with the Cardinals showing signs of life on offense with Jacoby Brissett at QB. He's best left on waivers.
