OT - SEA
Week 13 Outlook
Seahawks OL Charles Cross has officially been ruled out for Week 3 against Carolina.
Cross is still dealing with a toe injury and will miss his second consecutive game. With McClendon Curtis also listed as inactive, the Seahawks will be thin on the offensive line Sunday.
Charles Cross (toe) has been ruled out by the Seattle Seahawks ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
With Cross and possibly also Abe Lucas out Sunday, quarterback Geno Smith could potentially be missing both starting offensive tackles, giving second-year Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson plenty of opportunities to put pressure and wreak havoc in the Seattle backfield Sunday.
The Seahawks and rookie OT Charles Cross came to an agreement on a rookie deal Wednesday worth $21.384M with a signing bonus of $12.73M and a fifth-year option.
Cross becomes the final top-10 pick from this year's NFL draft to come to an agreement on a rookie deal. He fills a need for a Seahawks offensive line that hopes to show improvements this season after being one of the worst in the league in recent years.
The Seattle Seahawks selected OT Charles Cross with the number nine overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The big question was whether the Seahawks would address the QB position with Malik Willis or another position. They chose to address the offensive line with Cross who should make an immediate impact for Drew Lock or whoever starts undercenter for the Seahawks come September.
