Cross is continuing to work his way back from a previous finger injury. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald previously said he wasn’t expected to be all the way back from finger surgery until sometime between the Green Bay game and the season opener.
Charles Cross remains expected to be ready for the start of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated finger.
Fantasy Impact
Rapoport reports that Cross had been practicing through the injury, but decided to undergo surgery in a time frame where he'll still be good to go for the start of the season. He'll continue to help anchor the Seahawks offensive line.
Charles Cross told reporters he is focused on this season over a potential contract extension.

Cross added that his agents have not started negotiating with the team. “No, not yet,” he said. “But I’m just focused on this upcoming season and working for the upcoming season.” He'll look to continue to be an anchor of the Seahawks offensive line.
The Seahawks are exercising the fifth-year option for OT Charles Cross.

The option is worth $17.5 million for Cross. He will remain a core part of the Seahawks offensive line alongside Abe Lucas and recently drafted Grey Zabel.
Seahawks GM John Schneider would not answer when asked about picking up Charles Cross’ 5th-year option.

“I’ll answer that a later date," Schneider said. The deadline is May 1 with Charles' option being worth $17.5 million.
