Seattle Seahawks DE Chris Clemons has informed the team he is planning to retire, source says. He had rejoined the team on a one-year deal in the spring.

Chris Clemons had two tackles (both solo), two QB hits, and one forced fumble that he recovered and returned for a TD against the Bills on Sunday.

Clemons hasn't done a whole lot in fantasy this season, but he made an impact against Buffalo by forcing a fumble, recovering it, and going six yards for a TD. Clemons remains a low-tier option in IDP leagues, as he is completely a boom/bust play on this Jaguars DEF. Don't expect much in Week 9 against the Jets.

Chris Clemons became the first Jaguars player with 3 sacks in a single game since 2005 (Paul Spicer). All of the sacks came in the first half, in which the Jaguars also forced 5 fumbles, a franchise record.

With a tasty matchup next week vs. the NYG's below-average offensive line, Clemons is worthy of starter consideration in IDP leagues.
