Christian Watson has agreed to a four-year, $110 million extension with the Green Bay Packers. He is the second Green Bay receiver to sign an extension this offseason following Jayden Reed.
Fantasy Impact
Watson put together his best season on a per game basis in 2025 after coming back from an injury that forced him to miss the first seven weeks of the season. It’s quite a lot of money for a receiver who has been plagued with health issues and never had more than 620 receiving yards in a year. But to be fair to him, he averaged 13.2 PPR PPG in 2025 and he’s seen by many as a sleeper in 2026. This could certainly be the year he comes alive for the Packers offense.
Christian Watson was dressed but did not see the field on Sunday during the Packers' 16-3 loss to Minnesota in the final week of the regular season.
Fantasy Impact
Watson, along with most of Green Bay's regular starters, did not play on Sunday. He finishes the regular season with 35 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. He will be back in the starting lineup next weekend for the Wild Card round of the postseason.
Christian Watson caught five of six targets for 113 yards and a score in the Packers' 41-24 loss to the Ravens on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Watson led all Packers pass catchers in receptions, yards, and targets. It's his best game of the season to date and a nice bounce back after two down games. Overall, it looks like he's finally become the Packers' WR1, but we all know that can change quickly.
Christian Watson was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Watson got banged up last week while playing through chest and shoulder injuries. He is an upside WR3 play for fantasy managers.
Christian Watson hauled in two of his six targets for 17 yards in the Packers' 22-16 Week 16 loss to the Bears.
Fantasy Impact
Watson continues as a primary pass-catching option in the Green Bay passing attack, hauling in four or more receptions in four of his last six games despite the disappointing performance Saturday night. The wideout will look to take advantage of an inconsistent Baltimore Ravens secondary in Week 17.
