Christian Watson
WR - GB - Questionable
Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) indicated on Thursday that it is unlikely he will be able to play on Monday Night Football against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact
Watson has dealt with hamstring issues this season, and he said that he does not believe his current ailment is as bad as the one that kept him out at the beginning of the season, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN NFL Nation. Watson had begun to take form, scoring four times in three games including his multi-TD performance in prime time. His status should be monitored if he can return in Week 15, but hamstrings can be tricky.
Christian Watson was sidelined at practice on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Watson was banged up late in Sunday night's win over the Chiefs. With Green Bay playing on Monday, he'll have an extra day to rest/practice. He'll likely have to practice in some form by Saturday to have a good chance of taking the field against the Giants Monday night.
Christian Watson (hamstring) caught seven of nine targets for 71 yards and two touchdowns during the Packers' 27-19 win over the Chiefs in Week 13. He also added 15 rushing yards on two carries.
Fantasy Impact
Watson suffered an awkward-looking non-contact hamstring injury while trying to stay in bounds during the fourth quarter. Although he did not return, the wide receiver was in positive spirits postgame, and there's no indication that he'll miss extended time. Nevertheless, fantasy managers should monitor the Packers' injury report ahead of Week 14 versus the Giants.
Christian Watson caught 5-of-7 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ 29-22 win over the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Watson found the end zone on a 16-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to put the Packers up by 15. Watson’s performance Thursday was his best of the season, as he logged a season high in catches and receiving yards. The 24-year-old will look to continue his momentum in a Week 13 matchup with the Chiefs.
Christian Watson was a full participant in practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
It is an upgrade for Watson after he was estimated as a limited participant on Monday. He will be in the WR3 conversation on Thursday against the Lions.
