Chris Brooks
RB - Miami Dolphins
2024 Outlook
The Dolphins activated RB Chris Brooks from injured reserve Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Brooks has not suited up since Week 6 after landing on injured reserve with an ankle injury. The 23-year-old rookie will have to fight for playing time in a crowded backfield. Fantasy managers can leave Brooks on the waiver wire for now.
The Dolphins placed RB Chris Brooks on IR.
Fantasy Impact
Brooks will miss at least the next four games. It will continue to be Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson if healthy leading the Dolphins backfield until De'Von Achane returns.
Chris Brooks (ankle) is considered week-to-week for the time being.
Fantasy Impact
Brooks suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's game and is expected to be week-to-week for the time being, according to HC Mike McDaniel. He got six carries on Sunday and was primed to play a bigger role on the offense with De'Von Achane on IR, but with him possibly missing multiple weeks, that might not happen anymore. Salvon Ahmed is likely the biggest fantasy beneficiary of his absence for the foreseeable future.
Chris Brooks carried the ball six times for 28 yards in a 42-21 win over the Panthers in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact
Brooks and Salvon Ahmed both saw six carries, but all of Brooks' opportunities came in the fourth quarter with the game out of hand. It appears that Brooks with be Miami's No. 3 RB for as long as De'Von Achane (knee) is sidelined. The Dolphins will face the Eagles in Week 7.
Chris Brooks rushed for 66 yards on nine carries in the Dolphins' 70-20 win over the Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Brooks, the Dolphins' No. 3 running back, earned snaps once the score became out of hand in the fourth quarter. The rookie's performance didn't compare to Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane, who combined for 375 scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns, but he still showed that can be efficient when called upon. With that said, Brooks could be a healthy scratch in Week 4 if Salvon Ahmed (groin) is healthy enough to suit up.
