According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the New York Jets have agreed to trade a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for S Chuck Clark.
Clark, a former sixth-round pick, is entering the last year of his contract and is being moved to the Jets for capital. Clark has missed just two games in his NFL career and is coming off his first 100-tackle season as a safety. Clark adds cheap depth and versatility to an already solid safety group in New York.
Chuck Clark tallied five solo tackles, one assisted tackle, one TFL, one QB hit, and one strip-sack, as the Raven defeated the 49ers in a battle between two heavyweights, 20-17.
Clark's spectacular play sparked a Baltimore offense that had to punt for the first time in ages, and it prevented San Francisco from extending their early lead to two-scores. And while the first sack of his career may have been his most impactful play for the Ravens this year, he hasn't done much else in terms of fantasy production. He should stay on your waiver wire when the team plays the streaking Bills in Week 14.
