Cleveland's defense did well on Sunday, holding Carolina's offense to just 18 points over the course of the afternoon. They were also able to log several big plays to help out the offense, which played a big hand in their eventual win.
The Browns D/ST allowed 19 points on 313 total yards with one interception and three sacks on Sunday against the Buccaneers.

The Browns defense was able to help lead the team to an upset win over Tampa Bay. They'll face Bryce Young and the Panthers next week.
The Cleveland Browns D/ST was outmatched in the team's 34-10 loss to the Jaguars, achieving just one sack in the blowout loss.

It was a rough showing for the Browns, who were hoping that their defense would at least have some semblance of its form from last year. At least in Week 1, that was not the case in the slightest. They're firmly out of streaming consideration unless it's the best of matchups.
The Cleveland Browns hired Todd Monken as their next head coach.

The former Ravens offensive coordinator remains in the AFC North. Monken had been rumored to potentially follow John Harbaugh to the Giants as their offensive coordinator, but he instead lands his own head coaching job. Monken was previously the Browns offensive coordinator in 2019. He'll look to help transform the Browns offense that showed some flashes this past year.
Kevin Stefanski has been fired from his position as the Browns head coach, a position he occupied for six seasons.
Fantasy Impact
Stefanski led the Browns to the playoffs twice in his tenure. The last two seasons were not kind to Stefanski, as the team failed to get much going. To Stefanski’s credit, the Browns quarterback carousel did him no favors. They’ll look to find someone they believe can get them back in the postseason, and hopefully put a competitive team together.
