Cleveland rested several key players on defense so it is hard to take much away from their performance against the Bengals. They will now prepare to face off against the Texans on the road in next week's playoff game.

The Browns D/ST allowed 20 points while picking up two sacks and forcing two turnovers in a 37-20 win over the Jets in Week 17.

Fantasy Impact

Cleveland's defense came to play in the Thursday night win. They got a defensive touchdown on a 30-yard interception return by Ronnie Hickman in the first quarter while Myles Garrett and Alex Wright provided the sacks. Cleveland's defense will finish off the regular season on the road against the Bengals in Week 18.

The Browns D/ST allowed 22 points 250 total yards with three sacks and two interceptions on Sunday against the Texans.

Fantasy Impact

The big blow to Cleveland was on special teams allowing a kickoff return for a touchdown. The Browns defense dominated all afternoon and have a favorable matchup on a short week on Thursday against the Jets.

The Cleveland Browns D/ST allowed just 11 points and 236 yards while sacking Justin Fields three times and intercepting him twice in a Week 15 victory to improve to 9-5.

Cleveland's defense had been a bit off in recent weeks, particularly against the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Rams, but in Week 14 they returned to form. Even when they have given up high point numbers, Cleveland's defense has been able to deliver in fantasy through sacks, interceptions and fumble recoveries. In Week 15, they put it all together, allowing just 11 points defensively. A unit with 22 forced turnovers and 41 sacks travels to Houston next to face off against either the potential Offensive Rookie of the Year or, if he can't go due to his concussion, a backup QB.

The Browns D/ST allowed 27 points on 293 total yards with four sacks, three interceptions and one fumble recovery on Sunday against the Jaguars.

Fantasy Impact

Cleveland was able to limit Jacksonville to just seven points in the first half with Trevor Lawrence playing on a high-ankle sprain. The Jaguars' put together a comeback in the fourth quarter, finding the end zone twice to bring the game to within one score. The Browns are a decent streaming option next week against the Bears.
