Rams to sign Coty Sensabaugh

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Los Angeles Rams and CB Coty Sensabaugh agree to terms on a three-year deal on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

Coty Sensabaugh will join a revamped Rams defense in 2016. The four-year veteran could compete for the starting job opposite Trumaine Johnson. He played in all 16 games for the Titans last season starting in 15 of those contests and finished the year with 60 total tackles, two interceptions, one touchdown and eight defended passes.

Coty Sensabaugh intercepted Jameis Winston's first NFL pass attempt and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown. The Titans cruised to a 42-14 victory over the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact

Sensabaugh put the Titans up by two touchdowns when he jumped an out-route pass from Winston. He isn't a viable IDP option, but he is showing improvement from last season after a solid preseason and great start to the regular season.

Coty Sensabaugh working with the starters

Coty Sensabaugh is in a battle with Blidi Wreh-Wilson for the starting cornerback position across Jason McCourty. Sensabaugh and Wreh-Wilson are currently alternating in that role.

Fantasy Impact

Coty Sensabaugh is getting the first crack at playing with the starters between the two. Wreh-Wilson was the Titans' third round pick in 2013, and he will continue to develop. At this time, Sensabaugh is making more plays in team drills, which appears to have given him the early edge at winning the starting role.
