Reynolds coughed up the ball on a second-and-goal carry from the Las Vegas four-yard line in the third quarter. The Lions will be on bye in Week 9 before they face the Chargers in Week 10. There's a possibility that David Montgomery (ribs) will be able to return to action by then, which would push Reynolds back into the RB3 role in Detroit.
