Damontre Moore suspended six games for performance-enhancing substances

Seahawks DL Damontre Moore has been suspended six games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Fantasy Impact

Moore will be eligible to return following Seattle's Week 14 game against the Jets.

Dolphins release Damontre Moore

The Miami Dolphins have released DL Damontre Moore on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

The Dolphins release Damontre Moore after one season with the team. Moore appeared in 14 games in 2015 accounting for 27 tackles, four sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Moore will catch on with a new team as training camp approaches.

Giants release Damontre Moore

The Giants released DE Damontre Moore on Friday. The 2013 third-round draft pick's departure is believed to be at least in part for a violation of team rules.

Fantasy Impact

Moore recorded three sacks in 11 games, but he made a series of poor decisions throughout the season leading to costly penalties on, seemingly, a weekly basis. The Giants apparently had enough. Moore holds no value in fantasy formats.

Damontre Moore with one sack and costly penalty in loss to Eagles

In an ugly game marred by penalties, miscues and turnovers, Damontre Moore's roughing-the-passer penalty in the first quarter may have been the most costly. Following a second straight third-and-out by the Eagles to open the game, and with the Giants ahead 7-0, Moore inexplicably slammed Sam Bradford into the ground a few seconds after he had already thrown the third-down incomplete pass. As a result of the penalty, the Eagles retained possession and quickly marched downfield tying the game 7-7. The Eagles never looked back after that score and won 27-7. The Moore penalty (along with a Larry Donnell drop which turned into an interception) shifted momentum toward the Eagles who took full advantage.

Fantasy Impact

Moore did record one sack (after which he performed a sack dance with his team trailing in the game - which certainly caught the attention of Tom Coughlin) and one TFL. Despite coming off a solid performance in Week 5, Moore's poor play in Week 6 could further cut into his playing time. He is fantasy irrelevant in IDP formats.

Damontre Moore with two sacks and four tackles in win over 49ers

Damontre Moore led the Giants last night with two sacks on Colin Kaepernick in the Giants 30-27 comeback win over San Francisco. Moore also added four tackles (one TFL) in what was a decent showing by the Giants defensive line (at least in the first half).

Fantasy Impact

Moore has no IDP fantasy relevance and can be ignored in IDP formats.
