Dan Herron
RB -
Week 5 Outlook
Availability
The Buffalo Bills and RB Dan Herron agreed to terms on a deal that has not yet been disclosed according to NFL Network's James Palmer.
Fantasy Impact
Dan Herron signed with the Bills on Thursday they add depth to their talented running back group. Herron played four games with Buffalo in 2015 before finishing the year with Indianapolis. In 10 total appearances last season, Herron tallied 126 total yards on 34 touches and also contributed on special teams. Herron has minimal fantasy value in 2016 unless the Bills get bitten hard by the injury bug.
Daniel Herron carried the ball four times for 16 yards, mixing in two catches for five yards on two targets.
Fantasy Impact
Daniel Herron should only be owned by Frank Gore owners as a handcuff.
Dan Herron rushed two times for eight yards and caught three passes for 16 yards in the Colts' Week 13 loss to the Steelers.
Fantasy Impact
Despite being signed to take Ahmad Bradshaw's role as the pass-catching back and third down option, Herron stayed on the sideline for most of the first half. He saw a total of 13 snaps mostly in the fourth quarter. He is familiar with the offense as a former Colt and owners should expect his play to increase next week against the Jaguars. He is a handcuff for Frank Gore owners only.
Herron is stepping in to replace Ahmad Bradshaw, who is on IR due to a wrist injury. Last season, Herron proved he can be a contributor down the stretch.
Fantasy Impact
He'll get a decent amount of work, perhaps 8-10 touches a game, behind a banged up Frank Gore. Probably worth a stash for teams down the playoff stretch.
The Bills cut running back Daniel "Boom" Herron on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
With LeSean McCoy and Karlos Williams healthy, the Bills decided not to carry a fourth back behind Anthony Dixon, and so Boom's tenure in Buffalo is over.
