Week 13 Outlook
Darius Slayton catches three of four targets for 40 yards in win over Eagles.
Slayton was able to deliver desperation flex play numbers for fantasy managers who needed a floor play. Kadarius Toney missing the matchup opened up some more looks for Slayton, but when Toney returns back to action Slayton is not worth rostering in leagues unless another injury was to occur in the Giants receiving group. Slayton will play the Dolphins in Week 13 which is a favorable matchup, so if Toney were to miss next week Slayton could be considered a desperation flex play if needed.
Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught four of his seven targets for 37 yards and lost a fumble in Monday's loss to the Bucs.
Through seven games, Slayton has caught just 16 passes for 227 yards and one touchdown.
Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton was unable to haul in his only target in the team's Week 9 win over the Raiders.
Slayton has no catches on just three targets over his last two games and is becoming an afterthought in the New York offense. With Sterling Shepard expected to return in Week 11 after a Week 10 bye, Slayton's role could be further reduced.
Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton was held without a catch on two targets in Monday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Slayton has missed three games through the first weeks and has combined for just 12 receptions for 190 yards and one touchdown in the five games he has appeared in. He has been the subject of trade rumors in recent days but remains with the Giants with just a few hours to go until Tuesday's 4 pm ET trade deadline.
Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught five of his nine targets for 63 yards in Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers.
Slayton returned in Week 7 after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury, and he benefitted from the absences of Kadarius Toney, Sterling Shepard, and Kenny Golladay, who all missed Week 7 with their own injuries.
