The Washington Commanders have placed WR Dax Milne on injured reserve, and he will miss the first four games of the season.

After being a seventh-round pick out of BYU in 2021, Milne has appeared in 28 games for the Commanders, starting two. Last season he was the Commanders' primary return specialist and led the league in total punt returns.

Milne has been mainly used as a kick or punt returner. However, with Jahan Dotson still sidelined with a hamstring injury various WR options have seen opportunities. This week Milne was the beneficiary of a red zone opportunity he turned into a score. Moving forward Milne will not be worth a spot on any fantasy roster, but perhaps at some point, he could be a possible option to pick up.

Milne is a 6-foot-1, 193-pound wide receiver out of BYU. His workout metrics do not stand out, but he totaled a 25.3% target share last season. With the opportunity, Milne hauled in 70 receptions on 95 targets for 1,188 yards and eight touchdowns.
