Deiondre' Hall

The Eagles acquired safety Deiondre’ Hall Saturday in a trade with the Bears. Chicago received a conditional seventh-round pick in return.

Fantasy Impact

Hall will miss Week 1 due to a suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. The 2016 fourth-rounder played in 10 games (no starts) with the Bears, recording seven tackles, three passes defensed, and one interception.

Deiondre' Hall did not practice today since he is recovering from an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact

Deiondre' Hall not practicing on a short week is definitely not a good sign for the Chicago defense. It is especially not a good sign when they are going up against a struggling, but potentially explosive Green Bay offense.

Bears' rookie CB Deiondre' Hall made one tackle and had a key pass breakup in the redzone in the 29-14 loss to the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact

Hall had an ugly whiff on a long Ryan Matthews run in the fourth quarter. He is a work in progress, but that's how it works with fourth round picks. Hall has tremendous upside especially in coverage and the Bears need cornerback help.

Fourth round rookie CB Deiondre' Hall is pure length at 6'2" and he showed that on Thursday night with back-to-back pass breakups in the second quarter, both in the endzone.

Fantasy Impact

Hall is still a long way away from being a star in this league, but much like his comparison Charles Tillman he possesses length and strength to play as a pure man to man corner. He had five tackles in this one.
