Denarius Moore inactive Sunday

Raiders WR Denarius Moore is a healthy scratch for the game in St. Louis. Moore has fallen out of favor in Oakland. He has not played a snap in two games.

Fantasy Impact

Moore had fallen behind James Jones, Andre Holmes and Brice Butler on the wide receiver depth chart. With the impending return of Rod Streater, Moore had no place in the Oakland's offense. Moore has most likely played his last snaps in Oakland, it goes without saying that it is safe to move on from Moore in fantasy leagues.

Denarius Moore inactive in Week 4

Denarius Moore will not play against the Dolphins in London.

Fantasy Impact

James Jones and Andrew Holmes were ahead of him on the depth chart already so not a big impact to most fantasy players.

Moore in line for increased playing time.

Rod Streater's injury (foot) will allow for Denarius Moore to see extended playing time, as the Raiders will rotate Moore with Andre Holmes opposite James Jones.

Fantasy Impact

Even with the boost in playing time, it's simply too early to consider Moore worthy of a roster spot.

Dennis Allen believes that Denarius Moore ready to take the next step

Dennis Allen states that Moore is getting more consistent and back to his old self, like he was 2 years ago.

Fantasy Impact

Moore is set to be the deep threat for the team and with Derek Carr throwing the ball with his cannon of an arm, its plausible that Moore has a sneaky upside. He is certainly worth watching early on as it appears the Raiders will be throwing the ball quite a bit in order to catch up with the competition.

Moore flashes skill set in preseason finale

Denarius Moore busted out his best performance of the preseason on Thursday against Seattle. He finished the night with 3 catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Moore showed his breakaway speed on a 36-yard touchdown bomb in the first quarter. His second touchdown was an 11-yard back shoulder throw in which Moore made the catch and toe-tapped both feet just inside the sideline of the end zone. His lone other catch was an acrobatic one-handed snag.

Fantasy Impact

While Moore does have explosive potential, he will be fighting for catch opportunities with starters Rod Streater and James Jones. Unless there is an injury, Moore could only be used as a desperation play and hope for a long touchdown.
