RB - WAS
Week 14 Outlook
The Commanders have elevated RB Derrick Gore from their practice squad.
Gore will likely see the active roster on Sunday with Antonio Gibson likely out due to a toe injury. Fantasy managers should expect Gore to work in a limited role as Brian Robinson should see the bulk of the carries in Week 11.
The Washington Commanders are elevating their practice squad RB Derrick Gore to their active roster for Week 4.
Gore finds himself a role after rookie RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. was ruled out for Week 4 due to an illness. He likely won't serve as more than the team's RB3 in a tough match-up (Philadelphia), but he could find a role on special teams.
The New Orleans Saints have released RB Derrick Gore.
Gore signed with the team's practice squad recently, but it appears his tenure with the team will be over after a short amount of time. He has been on many teams over the course of the season, so it wouldn't be surprising to find him on a practice squad somewhere in the coming weeks.
Derrick Gore was placed on injured reserve by the Chiefs Tuesday.
The RB room in Kansas City got crowded with the additions of Isiah Pacheco and Ronald Jones. Gore was solid in his first season with the Chiefs in 2021, posting 256 rush yards on 51 carries and two rushing touchdowns. Gore was currently being taken as the RB89 in PPR ADP prior to today’s news. The Chiefs’ RB situation currently looks like it may be a committee to start the season.
Chiefs running back Derrick Gore is among Kansas City’s inactives ahead of their AFC championship matchup against the Bengals.
This should not surprise anyone with running backs Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Jerick McKinnon, and Darrel Williams all available out of the Kansas City backfield as they look to reach their third consecutive Super Bowl with a win over the Bengals Sunday.
