Derrick Johnson is the second pass rusher Kansas re-signed on Wednesday. They locked up veteran Tamba Hali earlier in the day. Johnson finished 2015 with 116 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and eight passes defended. His solid stat line helped contribute to a surprisingly productive fantasy football defense.
Johnson was in on eight tackles Sunday. He had six solo tackles with two assists, and one was a sack. This was a strong first game back since his Achilles injury in 2014.
Now that he is healthy Johnson should have a strong IDP campaign in 2015. This first game is a fairly strong indicator that he is back in the groove, and will be productive.

Johnson had over 100 combined tackles per season from 2010-13 before injury limited him to one game in 2014. He is now 32, and coming off a significant injury, so it remains to be seen what level he'll be playing at in 2015.
