This Week Outlook
CB Desmond Trufant (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Jaguars.
Trufant did not practice all week and was ultimately ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. The Lions had a bye Week 5, but it wasn't enough time for Trufant to heal. Look for Gary Roberts and Chris Jones to be Detroit's starting corners on Sunday.
Lions CB Desmond Trufant (hamstring) is active for the Lions' Week 4 game against the Saints.
Trufant hasn't played since Week 1. His return is a nice boost to Detroit's secondary.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Lions CB Desmond Trufant (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 4.
It looks like Trufant will play for the first time since Week 1 in Sunday's matchup against the banged-up Saints. While the Lions' defense was lit up last week by Arizona wideouts, they've played better in the first two games. Trufant's return will only help Detroit's cause facing the Saints' passing attack sans Jared Cook and Michael Thomas.
Desmond Trufant (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Saints.
The return of Trufant would provide a big boost for Detroit's secondary that will be going against a Saints team that he faced twice a year in his first seven NFL seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. This matchup got a bit easier with Michael Thomas ruled out.
Lions CB Desmond Trufant (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 3 matchup with the Cardinals.
The Lions' secondary are going to have their hands full with Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Trufant seemingly has a chance to return in Week 4.
