Deuce Vaughn carried the ball twice for two yards while also catching his lone target for 10 yards in the Cowboys' Week 17 20-19 win over the Detroit Lions.
Vaughn saw little involvement in the Dallas offense despite backup running back Rico Dowdle sidelined for the Week 17 contest, averaging just 1.0 yard per carry in a dismal performance Saturday night. The rookie running back will be best left out of lineups ahead of a Week 18 contest against the Washington Commanders.
Deuce Vaughn will step into the No. 2 RB role this Saturday against the Lions.
