This Week Outlook

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, RB Devine Ozigbo was released by the Detroit Lions on Sunday amid a series of roster moves.
Fantasy Impact
Ozigbo led the Detroit Lions in rushing, 31 yards, in their 2023 preseason opener but struggled to see the field much after that. The 26-year-old Ozigbo has played for three teams in four seasons and has served as a dual-threat back, matching his career rush attempts with his career catches. Ozigbo will look to find a new home with another team as a depth RB.
Devine Ozigbo led the Lions in rushing Friday night, carrying the ball 11 times for 31 rushing yards in the team's 21-16 win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact
Ozigbo was limited despite leading the team in carries out of the backfield Friday night, averaging a less than ideal 2.8 yards per carry in the contest. As part of a crowded backfield competition for the No. 3 role behind co-starters David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, Ozigbo will need to show more to the Lions coaching staff to remain an option prior to the upcoming regular season.
The Lions signed free agent RB Devine Ozigbo Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Ozigbo appeared in four games last season with the Broncos, tallying four total touches in four games. The 26-year-old will likely compete for a depth role and should be left on fantasy waiver wires.
The Broncos have elevated RB Devine Ozigbo to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact
This is a depth move with Melvin Gordon released and Chase Edmonds (ankle) sidelined. Latavius Murray should still be the lead back for the Broncos.
Devine Ozigbo will be on the Broncos' active roster for tonight's contest against the Colts. Per Ian Rapoport, Ozigbo will play special teams and possibly more.
Fantasy Impact
With Javonte Williams out for the season and the recently signed Latavius Murry inactive, Ozigbo gets the nod as the third RB on the roster for Denver. Ozigbo could theoretically see some action in a pass-catching role, he had nine catches for Jacksonville in 2020, but you'd have to be desperate to take a chance on him for your fantasy team this week.
