De'Vondre Campbell
LB - GB
2023 Outlook
De'Vondre Campbell (knee) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday. However, he is still listed as doubtful to play against the Eagles in Week 12.
Fantasy Impact
It was refreshing to see that Campbell returned to practice, but he evidently needs more time to get back into game form. He might be able to return in Week 13 versus the Bears. On the other hand, he could be held out until Week 15 when Green Bay returns from its bye.
The Green Bay Packers have listed LB De'Vondre Campbell as inactive against the Tennessee Titans for Thursday Night football.
Fantasy Impact
Campbell will miss his third game in a row as he deals with a knee injury that has kept him sidelined. Campbell currently has 64 tackles this year and has played in eight games, and the Packers will miss his impact on both fronts defensively after a strong 2021 campaign. The Packers are also listing CB Shemar Jean-Charles, OL Rasheed Walker and Luke Tenuta, WR Romeo Doubs and DL Jonathan Ford as inactive.
De'Vondre Campbell has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact
Campbell missed practice all week and will be sidelined for his second straight game after leaving the game against the Bills in Week 8. His absence should benefit the Cowboys rushing attack this weekend.
De'Vondre Campbell (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions. This comes as no surprise after he missed all three practices this week.
Fantasy Impact
Campbell has racked up 64 tackles through eight games, so his absence Sunday could bode well for the Lions' running backs. Furthermore, Preston Smith (shoulder, neck) is also listed as questionable. There is a clear opportunity for Quay Walker and Isaiah McDuffie to see more snaps this week, among others.
Per Field Yates, the Packers are re-signing linebacker De'Vondre Campbell to a five-year deal worth $50 million.
Fantasy Impact
In a day that saw the Packers release two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Za'Darius Smith, the Packers re-solidify their linebacking core with Campbell. The first-team All-Pro linebacker in 2021 will now have the opportunity repeat his success from last season in which he recorded two interceptions, two forced fumbles, 146 total tackles, two sacks, and six tackles for loss. With a $50 million price tag, the Packers are expecting big things from the 28-year-old for years to come.
