Week 6 Outlook
Availability
Free agent and former Raiders, Seahawks, and Dolphins DE Dion Jordan is expected to sign with the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan was a former 3rd overall pick in 2013 of the Miami Dolphins. His career hasn’t taken off like it was supposed to coming out of Oregon, but he should still be able to get off the edge and get to the quarterback. A low-risk signing for a very good 49ers defense.
Seahawks DE Dion Jordan did not record a single statistic in their week one matchup against Denver.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan dropped an interception in zone coverage, and was also penalized for roughing the passer. Not exactly the kind of impact the Seahawks were hoping for from Jordan, a Miami reclamation project.
Dion Jordan recorded a sack on seven total tackles (two solo) in the Seahawks' loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan led all DEs in total tackles in Week 15. While Jordan had a great game, he doesn't hold much fantasy value.
The Seattle Seahawks have signed free agent pass rusher Dion Jordan on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
The Seahawks have taken a flier on Jordan, a former third overall pick of the 2013 draft by the Dolphins, by reaching an undisclosed deal with the pass rusher on Tuesday. Despite having a boatload of talent and upside, Jordan has spent the first four years of his career battling injuries and off the field issues that resulted in suspensions handed down by the NFL. Jordan has only managed three sacks in 26 career games and is labeled a bust.
The Miami Dolphins have waived defensive end Dion Jordan.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan, the former third overall pick of the Dolphins in the 2013 draft, was waived by the team Friday due to a failed physical. The 27-year-old pass rusher has not played since the 2014 season due one-year ban stemming from a violation of the league's PED policy in 2015 and a lingering knee injury in 2016. Although Jordan's career has been tumultuous up to this point, he has enough talent to land a tryout with a new club for the upcoming season.
