WR - PIT
This Week Outlook
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught 11-of-16 targets for 117 yards in a 48-37 playoff loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Johnson finished second on the team in receiving. The second-year wideout emerged as a legitimate force in fantasy this season and could have an even bigger year in 2021 with JuJu Smith-Schuster set to become a free-agent this offseason.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught 3-of-4 targets for 96 yards in a 24-22 loss to Cleveland in Week 17.
Johnson had just one catch entering the fourth quarter but salvaged his afternoon with a 47-yard reception on the team's final drive. He should go back to seeing double-digit targets next week in the Wild Card round with Ben Roethlisberger returning to action after the team chose to rest him in Week 17.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught 8-of-14 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in a 28-24 win over the Colts in Week 16.
Johnson pulled in a diving, 39-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. His 14 targets led the team as he finished with one more than JuJu Smith-Schuster. Johnson will be a high-end WR2 in Week 17 against the Browns.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught 8-of-13 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in a 27-17 loss to the Bengals in Week 15.
Johnson caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger in the third quarter. The second-year wideout did appear to injury his lower leg/foot in the second half but wound up missing just a few plays after getting checked by trainers on the sidelines. Johnson will be a WR2 against the Colts in Week 16.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught 4-of-7 targets for 40 yards in a 26-15 loss to Buffalo in Week 14.
Johnson dropped two passes early in the first quarter and was benched for the remainder of the first half. He returned after halftime and still wound up tied for the team lead in targets. While they don't affect his fantasy point totals, drops have increasingly become an issue for Johnson and his fantasy stock will take a hit if his snaps are scaled back. For now, treat him as a low-end WR2 in an excellent matchup against Cincinnati in Week 15.
