WR - CAR
WR DJ Moore and the Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms on a four-year extension.
Moore has been one of the bright spots on a young Panthers team for a few years, and the team is making sure to lock him down for years to come. For fantasy purposes, this adds security to Moore in dynasty leagues, but it may cap some of his upside, unless Carolina gets an improved QB situation. Look for the young receiver to continue to be great for years to come.
Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (hamstring) is officially active and will play in Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Moore was limited in practice this week with a hamstring injury, but is all systems go for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. The 24-year-old has caught 78 on 133 targets for 986 yards and four touchdowns over 15 games in 2021. Tampa Bay's defense ranks 14th in DVOA against WR1s. Moore will have Cam Newton and Sam Darnold throwing to him as the team will rotate quarterbacks throughout the game. The Maryland product is a borderline WR2 and is 24th among all wideouts in the latest FantasyPros expert consensus rankings for Week 16.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Panthers WR D.J. Moore (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 16.
While Moore is dealing with a hamstring injury, forcing him to miss practice time earlier in the week, he is in line to play against the Buccaneers after returning for Friday's session. Moore has had his ebbs and flows this season, but enters Sunday's exploitable matchup finishing four straight games with 10+ PPR points. He's also drawn 10+ targets in three of those matchups. Even with the uncertainty at quarterback in Carolina, Moore has some WR2 appeal in PPR scoring formats for Week 16.
D.J. Moore has been listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
After missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Moore got in a limited session at practice on Friday. He was labeled a game-time decision earlier in the week, which still appears to be the case.
DJ Moore (hamstring) has missed his second straight practice on Thursday.
Carolina already has a tough matchup this week against the Bucs, but without Moore, they'll be desperate for weapons on offense. If Moore doesn't play then Robby Anderson should get more targets.
