Turner signed with the Texans on July 29 and practiced Monday. His season will end on injured reserve, or the Texans will reach an injury settlement with him and release him.

Turner spent the last four seasons with the Raiders where he appeared in 32 games. He'll compete for a depth role in the Texans wide receiver room.

Turner hauled in an 11-yard touchdown pass from Gardner Minshew in the fourth quarter. The veteran wideout has now contributed two touchdowns this season as he rushed for one against the Browns back in Week 4. Turner will take on the Bengals in Week 9.

DJ Turner caught two passes for 13 yards and had one rush for four yards in Sunday's loss to the Rams.

This is Turner's second week in a row with two catches. Despite the Davante Adams trade and Jakobi Meyer's injury, Turner still had limited opportunities in the passing game. Turner will likely continue to be fantasy-irrelevant once Jakobi Meyers returns.
