Donovan Wilson
S - Dallas Cowboys
Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Donovan Wilson (elbow/shoulder) is inactive for Week 8 for the Dallas Cowboys against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Wilson joins fellow starting secondary member Trevon Diggs (concussion) out of the Dallas lineup for head coach Brian Shottenheimer after entering the weekend carrying a questionable designation. The Dallas defense could be the perfect unit for an inconsistent Denver offense to get back on track against Sunday.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Donovan Wilson will be questionable for Week 8 against the Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
The injury report has not been released yet, but Jones made these comments speaking on 105.3 The Fan. Wilson was not seen at practice earlier this week.
Donovan Wilson was not seen at practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
The status of Wilson will need to be monitored at practice the rest of the week.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Dallas Cowboys S Donovan Wilson was carted off the field on Wednesday and diagnosed with a sprained calf.
Fantasy Impact
Wilson was the Cowboys' leading tackler in 2022. Rapoport said that the injury isn't believed to be serious, but the Cowboys will be careful in bringing Wilson back to the field. With the injury coming in late July, there's always the risk he could miss some time, but he could possibly avoid the IR if Dallas thinks his return could be sooner rather than later.
Dallas Cowboys safety Donovan Wilson is inactive for Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Wilson was a DNP in practice all week with the groin injury. Wilson being inactive means that the Cowboys will be missing another key piece of an already shaky defense. Jayron Kearse will make another start in his place.
