Edwards should just be a depth option for the team. They have nothing to play for in Week 18, but still have Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon on the roster behind De’Von Achane. Don’t expect much from Edwards this week.

Edwards signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent after the conclusion of the NFL Draft. The former Michigan running back will be competing for a depth spot in the Jets backfield behind Breece Hall, Braelon Allen, and Isaiah Davis. It is possible Edwards earns a role in the passing game as a receiver out of the backfield. He caught 30 passes two years ago for the Wolverines.
