The former Michigan running back will be competing for a depth spot in the Jets backfield behind Breece Hall, Braelon Allen, and Isaiah Davis. It is possible Edwards earns a role in the passing game as a receiver out of the backfield. He caught 30 passes two years ago for the Wolverines.
