Wicks was acquired by the Eagles in a trade this offseason. He will figure to compete for an immediate role in the Eagles wide receiver room.

Dontayvion Wicks has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2026 fifth round pick and a 2027 sixth. Wicks will sign a $12.5 million extension with the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact

$12.5 million is not nothing, and his addition is an interesting transaction given the AJ Brown trade rumors. It doesn’t preclude the Eagles from taking a receiver in the NFL Draft, but his contact seems to signal a decent amount of involvement in the Eagles upcoming plans.

Dontayvion Wicks (concussion) is out for the Packers game against the Bears on Saturday due to a concussion.

Wicks was able to get in a practice session on Thursday, but it was not in knowledge to clear out about concussion. With Wicks out, expect Matthew Golden to get some extra reps as the Packers clear WR4.
