The Eagles have released former second-round pick Dorial Green-Beckham.
If you were to go back and look at dynasty ADP from two years ago when Green-Beckham was drafted by the Titans, he was being taken as a top-30 player in startup drafts. Truth be told, this isn't all that shocking, as the odds were stacked against Green-Beckham once he was traded away from the Titans for essentially nothing. He'll likely latch on somewhere as a goal-line presence, but nothing more. Over his two years in the league, he's seen a rather-high 141 targets, resulting in just 68 receptions for 941 yards and six touchdowns.
With fellow Eagle Jordan Matthews out, Dorial Green-Beckham was still only able to catch one pass for 15 yards in the team's win against the Cowboys on Sunday.
DGB, along with the other receivers, will all be playing for their jobs in 2017, since it will be a year that is sure to see shake up at the position.
Eagles receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was only able to catch one pass for seven yards as the Eagles beat the Giants 24-19 on Thursday Night Football.
DGB has regressed with both Nelson Agholor and Jordan Matthews back in the lineup, and the tight ends being involved more. Carson Wentz spreads the ball around a lot, bringing him back to fantasy irrelevance for now.
Eagles receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, though technically listed as a starter, was only able to catch one pass for 11 yards in the close 27-26 loss against the Ravens.
DGB is a starter in name only at this point, with the tight ends and running backs getting more involved in the offense than him. He wouldn't be a starter on any other NFL team, and shouldn't be for your fantasy team.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham (chest) will play Week 15.
Green-Beckham will play Sunday against the Ravens barring any setbacks in pregame with his chest injury according to NFL Insider Adam Caplan. Despite entering a plus matchup, he is a risky fantasy football option this week on an Eagles offense that struggles to pass the football. Green-Beckham is a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex play for Week 15.
