Winston went undrafted in 2020 and has fought to stay on a roster, spending time with the Rams, Saints, Browns and Seahawks. The former Washington State Cougar doubles as a receiver and returner. There was some belief he would make Seattle's roster, and he could return to their practice squad if he clears waivers.

Easop Winston Jr. caught three passes for 29 yards and a touchdown on Thursday against the Vikings.

Winston, who played college football locally at Washington State, connected with Drew Lock for the first touchdown of the night for Seattle. He will look to earn a depth role among Seahawks receivers.

The Browns have been looking for some depth at receiver for a lot of this off-season, and they get just that with Winston. The veteran was actually having a pretty good camp with New Orleans prior to his release, but they had to let him go because of the elite depth they have at the position. He will compete for a roster spot in Cleveland, but even if he gets it, he likely won't have much for fantasy value.
