Rairdon exited the game after the reception and was originally listed as questionable to return. The rookie tight end remained out of the game and fantasy managers will want to monitor his status heading into a Week 3 matchup with Jacksonville.

The rookie was able to haul in his first career catch on Wednesday night, which he turned into a two-yard touchdown early on in the game. He wasn't very involved outside of that, however, failing to receive another target the rest of the game. He remains a player to keep tabs on moving forward, as his emergence would spell bad news for the streaming value of veteran Hunter Henry.
Eli Raridon will have an opportunity to “make an impact” during his rookie season behind veteran Hunter Henry thanks both to his skillset and the lack of depth at the position behind him.

Raridon will be behind Henry at least to start the season, but he could find himself a role down the stretch should the veteran suffer an injury. Henry is on the wrong side of 30, so the team is needing a young and promising talent to come in. Hopefully Raridon is the next productive Patriots tight end. The rookie’s own injury history is concerning, however, and much remains undecided.
