Elijah Arroyo viewed as TE who can 'run extensive route tree' by Seahawks

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald told reporters that he views rookie TE Elijah Arroyo as a “unique” player, who can “run an extensive route tree."

Fantasy Impact

Arroyo was drafted in round two with the No. 50 overall pick by Seattle. Macdonald noted his ability to line-up all over the line of scrimmage as he did at Miami. The big knock on him coming out of college was his injury history which included a knee injury that ended his 2022 season and carried over into 2023. Arroyo is likely behind Noah Fant and AJ Barner on the depth chart as of right now, but he will be a player to monitor throughout OTAs and training camp. The Seahawks are expected to run more 12 personnel under new OC Klint Kubiak.

Elijah Arroyo selected No. 50 by Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have selected TE Elijah Arroyo with the No. 50 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact

Elijah Arroyo’s 590 yards and 8.9 YAC per reception in 2024 bring a dynamic slot threat to Seattle, but his backup role behind Noah Fant caps him as a TE2 for fantasy managers. His 35 catches and seven scores show red-zone upside if Fant is traded. At 250 pounds, Arroyo’s project status makes him a late-round dynasty stash with 2025 breakout potential.
