The Detroit Lions and veteran CB Emmanuel Moseley have reached terms on a one-year deal to bring the corner back to Motor City.

Moseley was ruled out for the season in October after tearing his ACL, the second one in as many years. He essentially is signing a prove-it deal to show he can return to form and proper health after only playing one game last year. Moseley will be 28 entering next season and could help provide depth in a corner room that needs productive players.

Unfortunately for Moseley, he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee on his second snap Sunday. He was returning from a torn ACL in his left knee he suffered last October as a member of the 49ers. The veteran cornerback is set to be a free agent after the season.

Moseley was making his season debut after rehabbing a left knee injury. The Lions’ training staff appeared to be looking at his right knee, so the good news for now is that the veteran did not appear to injury the same knee. The Lions should provide more details on the severity of the injury soon.
