Igwebuike signed with the Steelers this week due to an injury to Anthony McFarland, but will not make his Steelers debut for at least another week. Fantasy managers should expect Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren to continue to carry the workload for the running backs.

The move with give the Falcons some depth at running back should RB Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh) not suit up for Week 1. The 28-year-old running back saw limited action in 2022 with Seattle, tallying just five yards on five touches. Fantasy managers can leave Igwebuike off their radar.

Godwin Igwebuike tallied 70 rushing yards and one touchdown on 13 carries in a win over Miami Friday.

Igwebuike found the end zone in the second quarter on an 11-yard carry to open the scoring. The 28-year-old recently signed with the Falcons and figures to be competing for a spot on the 53-man roster, but will likely not have any fantasy value in 2023.

Igwebuike formerly played for the 49ers, Buccaneers, Lions and Seahawks. At the age of 28, the former Northwestern Wildcat has played 28 games in the NFL, starting one. He joins a deep room with Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allgeier and Cordarelle Patterson. Though he'll struggle to find room for carries, he can make the roster as a return specialist, as the Falcons lost RB Avery Williams to an ACL tear.
