WR - PHI
Week 7 Outlook
Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward caught one of his two targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ward only has two catches through the first four games of the season, but both have gone for touchdowns.
Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward caught his only target for a 15-yard touchdown in Monday's loss to the Cowboys.
Ward didn't have any catches through the first two weeks of the season and was only targeted once on Monday, though that one catch did go for a touchdown. He played just 16 offensive snaps against the Cowboys and is a rotational wide receiver for the Eagles who does not possess any fantasy value unless there is an injury to one of Philadelphia's other wideouts.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Greg Ward has signed his exclusive rights free agent tender to return with the team for the 2021 season, as reported by Pro Football Talk.
Ward elevated his play in 2020 during his second season with the Eagles, hauling in 53 receptions for 419 yards and six touchdowns across all 16 regular-season games. With a lot of young and inexperienced players comprising the core of Philadelphia's receiving corps, expect their front office to invest in Ja'Marr Chase, Devonta Smith, or Jaylen Waddle to bolster talent on their roster in 2021. Ward still promises to play a prominent role in the Eagles' passing game and will look to improve upon a solid 2020 campaign with a full offseason to build chemistry with QB Jalen Hurts.
The Eagles tendered WR Greg Ward as an exclusive rights free agent on Monday.
Ward was tendered and can only negotiate with the Eagles this offseason. He hauled in 53 receptions on 79 targets for 419 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games in 2020. The 25-year-old was the only Eagles wideout to start all 16 contests last season. Ward is currently the Eagles WR2, but could drop to third on the WR depth chart if new HC Nick Sirianni adds some pass-catching options during the offseason.
Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward caught one of his three targets for six yards and completed a 15-yard pass of his own in Sunday's loss to Washington.
Ward finishes the season with 53 receptions for 419 yards and six touchdowns while playing in all 16 games.
