Harrison Bryant plans to sign with Raiders

Former Cleveland Browns TE Harrison Bryant is expected to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders at the start of the new league year.

Fantasy Impact

Bryant spent the first four seasons of his career with the Browns, who selected him out of FAU in the fourth round. Bryant began his career with three consecutive seasons in the 230s in receiving yards, playing 59%, 39% and 48% of offensive snaps, respectively. He saw a career-low in snap share (33%) and yards (81) in 2023, but he can provide depth behind TE Michael Mayer and provides in the special teams phase.

Harrison Bryant not targeted in Week 18

Harrison Bryant was not targeted in his team's 31-14 loss to the Bengals in Week 18.

Fantasy Impact

Bryant was expected to see an increased role with David Njoku on the sidelines but it was Jordan Akins who caught three passes for 24 yards in the regular-season finale. Bryant will revert to his role as the backup TE in next week's playoff game against Houston.

Harrison Bryant hits pay dirt in Week 13

Harrison Bryant secured all five of his targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-19 loss to the Rams.

Fantasy Impact

Fellow Cleveland TE David Njoku got one more target than Bryant on Sunday, but it was the latter that ended up having a much better day with new quarterback Joe Flacco at the helm of the offense. Bryant doubled his reception total for the season in Week 13 while gaining the most yards he has in a single game in more than two calendar years. Bryant has now found the end zone in each of the last two weeks and three times on his 10 catches this season. He is at least a blip on the fantasy radar right now.

Harrison Bryant (hip) back at practice Thursday

Harrison Bryant (hip) was back at practice for the Browns on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Bryant returned to practice for Cleveland on Thursday after not taking the field on Wednesday due to a hip injury. This indicates that it isn't a serious issue, and it's looking like he'll be available to play this week against the Colts. He hasn't been productive so far this year and isn't worth rostering for the time being.

Harrison Bryant (hip) non-participant Wednesday

Harrison Bryant (hip) was a non-participant at Cleveland's practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

A hip injury left Bryant sidelined at Cleveland's practice on Wednesday. It's still early in the week, so his absence could've been a precautionary move from the team, but we won't know more until Thursday. He hasn't been valuable for fantasy purposes so far this year and should remain on the waiver wire in most leagues for the foreseeable future.
