Hunter Renfrow
WR - LV
Hunter Renfrow caught 2-of-4 targets for 12 yards in Las Vegas' 24-17 loss to the Chargers in Week 4.
Fantasy Impact
Rookie QB Aidan O'Connell didn't get Renfrow very involved on Sunday, targeting him only four times leading to two catches on the day. He has a chance to bounce back when Jimmy Garoppolo presumably comes back next week, but even with him, the wideout hasn't been great this year and isn't good enough to be more than a streamer option week-to-week.
Hunter Renfrow caught both of his targets for 17 yards in the Raiders' 23-18 loss to the Steelers.
Fantasy Impact
Renfrow simply didn't have much of an opportunity to get involved as Jimmy Garoppolo targeted Davante Adams 20 times and Jakobi Meyers 12 times. Clearly third on the wide receiver depth chart, Renfrow belongs on waivers in most redraft formats.
In a game where the Las Vegas Raiders were left gasping for air, Hunter Renfrow's performance was as dry as the Nevada desert.
Fantasy Impact
The 27-year-old wide receiver managed to reel in his only target for a 23-yard gain, but it was a mere drop in the bucket as the Raiders were trounced 38-10 by the Buffalo Bills. Renfrow's single reception did little to boost his fantasy ranking, leaving him languishing at WR82 for the week and WR95 for the season. The Raiders' offense will need to find a spark somewhere, and fast, as they prepare to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. Renfrow's lone highlight came late in the fourth quarter, a 23-yard completion from Jimmy Garoppolo, but it was too little, too late for the struggling Raiders.
Hunter Renfrow finished Week 1 versus the Broncos without a target. Las Vegas ultimately defeated Denver by a score of 17-16.
Fantasy Impact
In terms of Raiders wide receivers, it was Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams who stole the show. Unless you're playing in a deeper league, you can absolutely justify dropping Renfrow to waivers ahead of Week 2.
Hunter Renfrow has been "impressive" in training camp, according to GM Dave Ziegler.
Fantasy Impact
Ziegler added that "it's been great to see him feel great, playing great, and ecstatic to see that development." Renfrow had his least productive season in 2022 after a fantastic season in 2021, catching only 36 passes for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns. He'll look for a fresh start with Jimmy Garoppolo under center, and figures to start at wide receiver alongside Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers.
