WR - HOU
Week 17 Outlook
Isaiah Coulter will not play in Week 13's matchup against the Colts.
Coulter returned to practice this week and was expected to see an increase in volume with a quickly thinning receiving corps in Houston. Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee will be the top pass-catching options this week but Coulter makes for a decent stash for Week 14 and beyond.
Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Isaiah Coulter returned to practice on Wednesday.
Coulter is seemingly buried on the depth chart for the Houston Texans, but aside from Will Fuller, no one is impervious to losing snaps to a more effective player. Coulter is more of a dynasty stash, but for those of you in redraft leagues, he may just be an injury away from entering the rotation once healthy. He is someone to add to your watch list.
Texans rookie wide receiver Isaiah Coulter is dealing with a neck injury that kept him out of the team's scrimmage this week, according to reports.
Coulter was a fifth-round pick in this year's draft but faces a crowded depth chart and is not even a lock to make the roster at this point.
The Houston Texans have selected wide receiver Isaiah Coulter with the No. 171 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Texans add more speed to the WR room by drafting the speedy receiver/return man out of Rhode Island. Coulter will have to improve his route-running ability and instincts as a true receiver if he hopes to make an impact on the offensive side of the ball. He projects as a kick/punt returner for the Texans and he’ll hope to find a spot on the 53-man roster this upcoming season.
